Day-by-Day Itinerary
21 days of unforgettable encounters
Arrival in Moshi
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport. Transfer to Moshi at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. Equipment check and climb briefing.
Machame Gate to Machame Camp
Begin your Kilimanjaro climb via the Machame Route. Trek through rainforest to Machame Camp at 3,000m.
Machame to Shira Camp
Climb through heath and moorland to Shira Plateau at 3,850m. Views of Kibo peak emerge.
Shira to Barranco Camp
Acclimatization day. Climb high to Lava Tower (4,630m) then descend to Barranco Camp at 3,960m.
Barranco to Karanga Camp
Climb the famous Barranco Wall. Continue to Karanga Camp at 4,035m through alpine desert.
Karanga to Barafu Camp
Short trek to Barafu base camp at 4,640m. Rest and prepare for summit attempt. Early dinner.
Summit Day - Uhuru Peak
Midnight start for the summit. Reach Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise. Descend to Mweka Camp.
Descent to Mweka Gate
Final descent through rainforest to Mweka Gate. Certificate presentation. Transfer to Arusha for celebration.
Rest Day in Arusha
Well-deserved rest day. Optional massage and spa. Prepare for your safari adventure.
Lake Manyara
Begin safari! Drive to Lake Manyara. Afternoon game drive looking for tree-climbing lions.
Serengeti Day 1
Drive to the Serengeti via Ngorongoro. Afternoon game drive in central Serengeti.
Serengeti Day 2
Full day exploring central Serengeti. Big cats, elephants, and great herds.
Serengeti Day 3
Drive to northern Serengeti. Migration territory and Mara River region.
Serengeti Day 4
Full day in northern Serengeti. River crossings during migration season.
Ngorongoro
Drive to Ngorongoro. Afternoon at the crater rim with stunning views.
Ngorongoro Crater
Full day in the crater. All Big Five possible. Picnic lunch on the crater floor.
Tarangire
Drive to Tarangire. Afternoon among elephants and baobabs.
Fly to Zanzibar
Morning game drive. Fly to Zanzibar for beach relaxation.
Zanzibar Beach
Day at leisure on pristine beaches. Optional water sports.
Stone Town
