The Story

Africa's Iconic Wilderness

Arusha National Park is a compact gem offering diverse landscapes within a small area - from the Momela Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater to the alpine meadows of Mount Meru. Located just 25km from Arusha city, it's perfect for day trips and acclimatization before Kilimanjaro climbs.

The park is one of few in Tanzania where you can walk on guided safaris, canoe on the crater lakes, and combine wildlife viewing with stunning mountain scenery.

Best Time to Visit

Arusha National Park offers remarkable wildlife viewing year-round, but each season brings its own unique spectacle. The dry season concentrates animals around water sources, while the wet season brings lush landscapes and newborn animals.
