The Story

Africa's Iconic Wilderness

Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve) is Africa's largest protected wildlife area at over 30,000 square kilometers - larger than Switzerland. Named after Tanzania's founding father Julius Nyerere, it offers an exclusive, uncrowded safari experience.

The Rufiji River dominates the landscape, creating channels, lakes, and floodplains teeming with hippos and crocodiles. Boat safaris, walking safaris, and fly camping provide unique experiences unavailable in northern parks.
